Edmund KamugishaEdmund is one of the founders of BLEGSCOPE currently operating as the Engagement Director. He brings over 10 years’ experience of strategy consulting, business development, sales and marketing that is spread across the advertising, financial services, and business development. He works extensively in the services based industry and manufacturing sectors and regularly serves as an advisor to several business associations.

He has advised numerous companies especially in their strategy development and implementation and led numerous business development assignments covering issues of market penetration and commercialisation of products.

Edmund is very comfortable when dealing with people at every level and over the years has built skills in developing and implementing strategic business plans, business strategy formulation and performance reviews, in-depth market analysis and surveys, corporate governance issues, financial management, team building, business diagnostic reviews, sales and marketing, quantitative research, technical proposal writing, report writing and formal presentations.

Edmund is also charged with the Strategy Development and Implementation Department at BLEGSCOPE.

Prior to founding BLEGSCOPE, Edmund was a Projects Officer in a Ugandan based consultancy practice that focused on micro-finance capacity building and strategy development.

He received a BA (Economics) from Makerere University and a MSc (Development Economics) from Uganda Martyrs University, Nkozi.
