A privately owned IT company with operations in three countries had grown its staff based of competent professionals. With the firm‟s commitment to motivate its employees; the management team took a key decision to support the individual staff members with more financial options towards borrowing and saving. This way, BLEGSCOPE was contracted to support the client to develop a staff savings and credit scheme.
This assignment involved BLEGSCOPE in a change management process to enable a complete staff buy the idea. The change in attitude amongst the staff was needed for them to approach the new proposal by management. This was followed by;
- Drafting of key documents that included the constitution and the scheme’s policy documents.
- Supporting the legal incorporation of the scheme.
- Elections to fill the agreed position as the office bearers and
- Supporting the new scheme managers to take-off smooth operations.
The key deliverable that was achieved and which we have lived to witness is the effective and smooth operationalization of the staff savings scheme.
